William S.C. Chao

Dr. Chao is President Elect of the World Organization of Digestive Endoscopy, President of the Asian-Pacific Society for Digestive Endoscopy, and President of the Hong Kong Chinese Medical Association. As of 2006, Prof. Chao was an honorary professor of 30 universities worldwide.

Joseph W. Leung

Dr. Joseph W. Leung is currently the Mr. & Mrs. C.W. Law Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine and the Chief of Gastroenterology for the VA Northern California Health Care System. Dr. Leung is a Fellow of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of Edinburgh, Glasgow and London, as well as the Hong Kong College of Physicians, Hong Kong Academy of Medicine, American College of Physicians, American College of Gastroenterology and American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Leung received the ACG Senior Governor Award in 2004, ASGE Master Endoscopist Award in 2005 and Master of ACG in 2010. He was a former Associate Editor for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He is the author and coauthor of more than 400 peer-reviewed articles, abstracts, and book chapters, as well as editor for 4 books.

Zhao-Shen Li

Dr. Li is President of the Chinese Society of Digestive Endoscopy and the head of the Department of Gastroenterology at Changhai Hospital. Prof. Li has published approximately 80 peer-reviewed publications in the area of interventional gastroenterology. He is a pioneer of gastrointestinal endoscopy in China.
