Management of locally recurrent nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is difficult. External beam re-irradiation could cure some patients but might cause severe radiation injury. This study was to evaluate the clinical value of endoscopic microwave coagulation therapy as salvage treatment for locally recurrent NPC.
