It has come to the attention of the authors that in the report entitled “Chemotherapy induces ATP release from tumor cells” in Cell Cycle Volume 8, Issue 22, a panel was inadvertently exchanged in Figure 2F. The corrected figure appears below. The authors apologize for any inconvenience caused by this mistake, which does not change the conclusions of the work.

Figure 2. (F) Cells that were either left untreated (control) or were treated with mitoxantrone for 12 h were subjected to a triple staining with the vital dye 4',6-diaminidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI, blue fluorescence), the mitochondrial transmembrane potential-sensitive dye tetramethylrhodamine methyl ester perchlorate (TMRM, red fluorescence) and Annexin V-FITC (green fluorescence). Using the indicated gates, cells were sorted and then lysed for ATP determinations (X ± SEM, triplicates) by conventional methods. Note that ATP was undetectable among dead (DAPI+) cells (gates marked as “X”) (N.D., not done). Each experiment has been repeated at least twice, yielding comparable results.
