Kornelia Polyak, M.D. Ph.D. at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Nelly serves as an Associate Editor of Cancer Biology and Therapy. The cover is a reminder that as cancer researchers we need to strike a careful balance between our professional and personal lives and also that there is great talent among us. Nelly mostly paints landscapes preferentially of places that she personally visited and birch trees are one of her favorite subjects.
