Effect of reduced survivin expression on tumor growth and apoptosis of tumor cells in nude mice. Xenografts growing in nude mice for 6 weeks after injection with either 510/RNAi control (right lateral) or with 510/RNAi survivin (left lateral). The lower panels show TUNEL assay analysis demonstrating robustly increased apoptosis of tumor cells in 510/RNAi survivin tumors (left) in nude mice compared to those from the 510/RNAi control (right).
