The cover image shows EGFP-PRL-3 expressing cells form metastastic tumors in the lungs of nude mice at 3-weeks after being injected with the cells via the tail vein. The gross appearance of the lung bearing EGFP-PRL-3 tumors was photographed using a digital camera attached to a fluorescent microscope under normal & fluorescent light. The result which is further described by Qi Zeng and colleagues (Guo et al.) in this issue demonstrates that PRL-3 plays an essential role in tumor metastasis.
