The cover image demonstrates the recruitment of 111In-oxine labeled murine neuronal progenitor cells (C17.2-luc), carrying a luciferase reporter, to subcutaneously implanted Lewis lung carcinomas in Nude mice. C17.2-luc cells were systemically administered via i.v. injection into tumor bearing (lower panels) or control (upper panels) animals, and their accumulation in target sites determined via both nuclear imaging with a Siemens M-Cam and via bioluminescence imaging following luciferin injection. The radioactive decay or luminescence signals were rendered according to the color scale, and overlaid on white light images of the mice to co-register the location of signal origin.
